Nobayeni's Bread is buttered on both sides! Female baker on a mission to set up own bakery

The smell of freshly baked bread drives Nobayeni, a Sharpeville resident, to greater heights. The 23-yaer old woman from Sharpeville is passionate about baking and has her eyes set on her lifelong dream of building and managing her own confectionary business in the near future.

Nobayeni plans to supply township traders and consumers with freshly baked cakes, muffins and all things floury and sweet.

Sharpeville - 200 residents from the impoverished area of Phuma Sibethane informal settlement in Sharpeville received Methanol Cook Stoves recently.

The cleanest energy stoves with a wonder bag were awarded by the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA), Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD), Sedibeng District Municipality and Emfuleni Local Municipality as part of a joint air quality awareness campaign held at George Thabe Stadium.
