29 June 2011 - The Executive Mayor of Emfuleni Local Municipality Cllr Greta Hlongwane, as part of the 100 days plan of action, will convene a “Youth in Dialogue” that will be representative of young people in Emfuleni. The theme for the dialogue will be “Youth Action for Economic Freedom in our lifetime”. The dialogue will lay a foundation for a Youth Summit which the Executive Mayor is planning for later this year.

The “Youth in Dialogue” is the first step by the Executive Mayor to honour her commitment to solicit the divergent views of our young community in order to marshal a way forward and find practical solutions jointly on issues affecting them.
