Media invite: Conclusion of the ELM Youth Summit 5-7 October 2011
06 October 2011: As part of the Emfuleni Local Municipality’s commitment towards job creation and economic stimulation for the benefit of young people, the Municipality will be concluding the Youth Summit under the theme: “The Generation with a mission” on Friday, 07 October 2011.
The Summit follows a Youth Dialogue which was convened by the Executive Mayor Councillor Greta Hlongwane on the 30th of June 2011. Tomorrow the summit will adopt wide ranging resolutions covering issues of Social, economic development, Sports and Recreation, Youth Development Policy, Youth crime prevention strategy and summit declaration.

Members of the media are invited to attend and give coverage to the event. Transport has also been arranged for members of the media and will depart at 08:30, from the ELM Vanderbijlpark library located adjacent to the Municipal head office.
