25 November 2001 - The Executive Mayor of Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) Councillor Greta Hlongwane is to receive a delegation from Quzhou Municipal People’s Government in China which will be paying a Mayoral visit to ELM.

The Chinese delegation will be led by the Mayor of Quzhou Municipal People’s Government Mr Shang Qing while the Executive Mayor of Emfuleni will be accompanied by Senior Management and members of the Mayoral Committee.

During the visit, the teams from both Municipalities will engage in talks which may lead to joint ventures, collaborations and possibly signing of sister- city agreements.
