Media Statement: Academic Excellence and Mayoral Bursary Awards
01 February 2018 - The Emfuleni Local Municipality together with sister-municipalities, the Sedibeng District Municipality and the Lesedi Local Municipality in partnership with the Sedibeng District of Education supported by the host, the North West University, Vaal Campus will be having a ceremony of Academic Excellence and Mayoral Bursary Awards.
The Gauteng Community Safety MEC Sizakele Nkosi- Malobane will grace this august occasion by bestowing awards to the top ten Matric learners who achieved 100% in the Sedibeng Region.
The ceremony will also be graced by Professor Christopher Rabali who is expected to present a paper on Academic Excellence under the theme “Academic Excellence in the year of Nelson Mandela”, followed by the Executive Mayor, Cllr. Jacob Khawe on Value of education.
