The ELM offers a range of facilities for the benefit of our residents and visitors. These include: Community halls, Sports fields and recreational facilities, Libraries and resource centers, Cemeteries and other public facilities

Swimming Pools

All four Municipality swimming pools will be operational and open for the public during festive days except
Christmas day. The operational times are 11h00 until 17h00.

No alcohol is allowed in the swimming pool areas.

Entrance fees are as follows:

Child (Above 7yrs ) – R19.00 (Under 6 years) – R6.00
Cecil Oldridge Park swimming pools
Adult – R 25.00
Child/pensioners – R 19.00

Sharpeville Swimming pool

Parks and Cemetries

The following parks will be operational during Festive season:
Phoenix Park, Mafatsane, Zone 11, Sebokeng and
Mokhelele Park. (All open at 6am and closing at 6pm)
Remember the following rules:
1. No loud music
2. No weapons allowed.
3. No parking allowed inside the park.
All Parks rules and By-Laws are to be enforced by the By-Law Unit.

Community Halls
Roshnee, Rus-stervaal, Mafatsane, Mpho simphiwe,
Saul Tsotetsi Sport Center, Boipatong, Bophelong are
operational.
For bookings, visit the desired hall
Monday to Friday between 8am to 4pm and speak to the
Caretaker.
