Functions

To supply the Council with the relevant Computer infrastructure to render Services
To Supply and maintain all computer equipment
To maintain the WIDE Area Network and Local Area Network
To insure the safekeeping of the Council's data
To render technical skills and support as stipulated in the SLA between Sedibeng DC and Emfuleni LC
To manage the Information Section of the Council
To plan for the expansion of the Council's computer infrastructure to help the Council to meet their objectives
To plan and maintain the DRP (disaster recovery plan) and Contingency Plan in event of disasters
To impliment Data security measures and advise council on IT policies
