Human Rights Fair

The aim of the Fair is to promote awareness of the importance of Human Rights and to highlight it’s significance from both a historical and current day perspective.

Activities such as exhibitions, story telling, oral accounts from survivors of the massacre and tours of the human rights precinct in Sharpeville will form part of the fair. Entertainment by local artists and crafter's wears will also be part of the bouquet of events.

Schools as well as individuals are encouraged to visit the fair and take advantage of the wealth of knowledge and entertainment on offer.

Partners in the fair include: Vaal University of Technology; Department of Trade and Industry; GEP; TEP; Gauteng Youth Commission; Human Rights Commission; GTA and other museums.
